About Us

What is Supervised Visitation?

The Purpose of supervised visitation is to provide a safe environment for a child(ren) to have a positive and supportive contact with a non-custodial party in the presence of a neutral third person. A Supervised Monitor is there to keep the child and everyone involved in the visit reasonably safe and protected. The supervised monitor will be present at all times during the visit and will be able to observe all contact and hear all conversation of the child and non-custodial party. The monitor will pay close attention to the child’s behavior during the visit and if necessary, the monitor may interrupt or end a visit if the visit becomes unsafe or causes distress to the child.

Debra McGee-Smith is a Certified Visitation Monitor available to provide professional and caring services during your visit with your child. In addition to being a Certified Visitation Monitor she has a background in healthcare and education and works as a Nurse Practitioner.
